What is a Partner?
A Mighty Acorns® Partner is an organization or agency that sponsors the Mighty Acorns program in a particular geographic area. A partner could be a public agency, park district, private organization, or cultural institution. Each partner has a formal relationship with a natural area through which the partner can involve students in stewardship field trips. (more info...)

Working Together
Mighty Acorns Partners sign a formal agreement that reflects a commitment among the parties to work together to achieve the vision and mission of Mighty Acorns, and to build the capacity of each other to present the program using the best possible standards and practices. Partners may join as a Coordinating Partner or a General Partner. Mighty Acorns is a trademarked program. In order to use the Mighty Acorns name or curriculum, you must have a signed agreement on file.

Partners
• Identify local schools that are interested in Mighty Acorns
• Work closely with schools to ensure that the program will succeed long-term.
• Lead teacher and volunteer training
• Coordinate field trips and plan stewardship activities
• Assess and develop volunteer resources at the local level.

Mentoring
New Mighty Acorns Partners are paired with a current Partner who acts as a mentor to help guide them during the first year.
