LOCATION |
The Indiana Dunes Environmental Learning Center in the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore (Chesterton, IN) |
WHEN |
Camp begins Monday morning of the camp week and ends on Friday morning. |
LODGING |
Seven campers of the same sex and one adult chaperone share a cabin. Cabins are equipped with bunk beds, air conditioning, and private baths. |
FOOD |
All meals are prepared on-site by Learning Center staff and served “family-style” in the lodge. Meals are nutritious and accommodations can be made for special dietary requests. |
TRANSPORTATION |
Transportation DURING the camp is provided. Transportation to and from camp from the greater Chicago area will be available. Every attempt will be made to coordinate pick-up and drop-off locations with public transportation locations. |
INSTRUCTORS |
Mighty Acorns and Learning Center staff are trained in first aid and CPR. They lead the programming and also serve as chaperones. |
